There's no way I can stay out of this one. "Some idiot accused me of jumping on the World Music bandwagon," Would that idiot have the initials PG? On Ommadawn MO created an early world music album. The same year, if I'm right about who said that, did his last album with a certain Supergroup. This whole article is like a paradox, the chicken and the egg. Mike jumped on the mechanized bandwagon long ago(look at the photo on this site of my beloved Oberheim DX drum machine-not actually my property but I loved it). Pioneered the use of a lot of "stuff", perhaps in a boring way- but did. Others copied Mike's computerizations. It's a freekin' mystery. But thanks for that eye-opening article. Everyone in the music biz has a story. The question is: how much of it is lies? A lot of it is the correct answer. A lot of it. Jim
