I wonder what are favourite tracks from new album for all people here. For me the best are: "Angelique" and "My father". If only there were real vocalists...

I like "Our Father" a lot... I'm from Poland, so Jan Paweł 2 was so I can say I'm connected with this song.

I love them all. I'm really fond of Mike's "chillout" playing even if I'm probably the only one in the whole board. :p My favs right now (subject to change within 5 minutes!! :D) are "Angelique" and "Our Father", and, as a pianist, I love the pure piano mood of "Sunset", although that piano sound is horrible!! :/

Angelique and Our Father. But i'm waiting for the revenge of Resolution. With the time it will be the third.
The album should be a single with these songs:
Anglique
Blackbird
The Gate (with real vocals of course, this version seems to be a demo)
Closer
Our father
Rocky (played on a real Steinway)
Sunset
Resolution
Nightshade
+Bonus track First Steps

et voilà, 9 songs + a bonus track. Not TSODE or Tr3s Lunas, but something nice waiting for the long and real album.

16 songs, these 16 songs, are too much. Sorry.

I'm sorry, excluding Quicksilver is not acceptable. ;)

First Steps. I loved Tres Lunas and I love the theme from Maestro soundtrack; when they are both mixed together, the result is really excellent.

;) Hi from France ...i love all of this new album but the piano on Rocky remembers me The Rio Grande intro ..What do you think about this ?? :/

And i think also... listen to the bass guitar all alone of Angelique.umx with U-mix... That remembers me the bass guitar on Tubular Bells finale or on Hergest Ridge...Yes ? No ? :/

I'm getting more and more into Sunset. It's IMHO one of the best melodies of the whole L&S work.

Yeah the bass guitar melody on Angelique reminds me of Hergest Ridge, especially when on U-Myx if you single out the Bass line. I'm working on my remixes and singling out the bass line on Angelique is one of my ideas.

The Vocaloids are the whole point of this track. Yes, it's a demo. A Vocaloid demo made by a professional musician. It's not so much an end in itself, it points towards things to come. It's visionary in that it's likely the first of its kind. I'm not necessarily saying it's perfect musically, but I like it.

Another thing. I only really got this now after another listening. Notice the point where the acoustic guitar and piano come in? No vocaloids at the beginning, and then they come back in and sing with the guitar and piano? As if this piece was about future and past and how they can intertwine to form the present.

Sunset for me. Like tubularman said: peace and harmony.
The end of a perfect day. Close your eyes, listen to that tune - and everything becomes a little easier....
That's "chill out" for me in its best way. :)
