Some people seem a bit emotional (annoyed, depressed, angry, resigned, whatever) about the delay of Music of the Spheres. What lyrics from a Mike Oldfield song sum up your feelings? Here are some of mine...

"You're number 1 anticipating you" from Five Miles Out - yes, I know I've changed "your" to "you're" !

"Hello everyone. I suppose you think that nothing much is happening at the moment. Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha." from everyones favorite voiceover

and of course when we are still waiting for it in 2026...
"Nineteen years with no reason or rhyme" from Crime of Passion

"I'm half a crazy man waiting for confirmation.
Signs keep changing and I need some more information."

Either that, or the final caveman scream from TB part 2.

Not "lyrics" as such, but the angry Piltdown Man grumbling pretty much sums up mine!

Some find it strange to be here,
On this small planet, and who knows where.
But when it's strange and full of fear,
It would be nice to listen to music of the sphere.

Crisis, crisis - I need you on my side cause there's a crisis.
And you can't get away

Is anybody there
Searching every sound
Walking on quiet ground"

ProjectZ came before me with "Crises", but I'll try to join in anyway. ;) Since I'm not really disappointed about the delay, but I do have a slight feeling of resignation, let me tell you what really happened to Mike O. since we last heard from him...

And the man in the rain picked up his bag of secrets (and spheres :D) and journeyed up the mountainside, far above the clouds. And nothing was ever heard from him again, except for the sound of ... [yes, you guessed it! :D] ... TUBULAR BELLS!! - cue huge BANG sound from oversampled chime instrument.

Yes, sure I know it's MotS and not TB IV [although in some parts it does sound like a TB IV, doesn't it? :D], but I wanted to respect the original lyrics, which I love...

I'm not surprised there's such a delay. I'm used to it lol. I can wait...this has been a long time coming, as far as I'm concerned. And now that it's finally a reality I can wait a little longer.

Everyone's interpretation is different, and everyone has a right to that opinion. There is no "right" one, I am adding this post to communicate my thoughts to share them with like-minded souls who will be able to comment in good nature.

(insert the last 5 mins of Crises here)
