;) Hi all !!

http://soundcloud.com/tubulartos/woodhenge-2012

Picture is my " artist" view of how could be Woodhenge in the Ancient times .

Thanks to Digital Digging and particularly Henry for his kindness and time ! ;)

Made with Bryce 6.3 and the DD sketchup model converted to work in Bryce !

Absolutely fantastic artwork Phil  ;)

I love the concept, And the way the sunlight flickers through the wooden monoliths/triptics.
Like an ancient dawn striking across the plateau and all is calm.
You've even got the platinum butterfly involved Somehow  ;)

A very nice picture indeed, well done mate  :)

lol, the picture isn't as good as the music IMHO.

I love the soundscape and the guitar is exquisite. Not sure about the slow build at the start and slow fade at the end... I understand why they're there but they did seem to be a bit long for a standalone track (but probably quite brilliant on a concept album to lead into the next track...)

Cheers,
Terry.

 i agree with you lol !! maybe too long intro and outro ..yes i often make my tracks this way , with soundscapes i mean .. sorry i'm not good for intros and outros , i find always a "central theme" but get always difficulties to work around and find debut and end !

Just listened at left comments on SC...
That's a cool track mate....Terrys right on the intro it's a little  disjointed..works better at the end..

But the main melody and guitar work are very nice and well done indeed.
I always like your solo's where you hit the odd string a bit harder and get that rasp out of the note...It's your trademark  :)

Good work mate.   :)

about the intro and outro  i wanted something like ..let's say we are in the past close to woodhenge and there was a ceremony or something like this with tambourines and flutes with outdoor effect with forest wind and birds sounds and then comes the the track itself and at the end the same but then we go far gradually ... hope you see what i mean

about the flute and its 5 notes it's only a "reprise" of what the synths plays a little later in the track ...

I liked this track - soothing and the intro/outro worked for me.

I like the way you pluck the strings harder in some parts and the sound it makes.

:D Ok Cameron ! well , since i'm not really good on guitar i just can say i have my own technic , i play the strings with only two fingers ...like Mike does but only two fingers ..and so with nails of those fingers not a plectrum ...

@Andy , thank you so much !  ;)
