That's pretty impressive, EeToN. I'll never win one of these contests, as I try to avoid over-familiarity with music, so that it can continually surprise me a little and come across as comparatively fresh.

Five of Mikes solo's in Eight seconds.
Guess right win a prize ;) 5 Solo's

As far as I hear:
Music for the Video Wall
Crises live from Wembley 1983
Crime of Passion
In the Pool
The last one is tricky, but I think it must be a Punkadiddle live version from 1981, maybe Montreux or Siegen. :)

Also, very impressed. :O

What is "Music for the Video Wall."?

Music for the Video Wall was the B side to the Magic Touch 12" Single.
Which has Mike wearing a nice pair of 501's, that takes me back.

Don't know if the Wall was ever built though :)

I still have this ...somewhere.

EaTon you have a good ear (But we knew that).

1- Correct.
2- Correct  although it's Viareggio 84 The bum note after the Drum Solo is a dead giveaway .
3- Correct Crime of Passion Extended Cut.
4- Correct
5- Correct  Punkaddidle Live in Essen 81.

Your prize is, in a PM

:)

2. Oh, indeed! I though about Wembley 83 because that is my favourite one and I know it note by note and I recognized this bum but I didn't think of the fact that I know Viareggio almost as well. :)
3. Indeed, I usually listen to the extended version because of this extra solo bit. :)
5. And indeed again, this is the version that got released on Elements, so it should be the most famous of the Punkadiddle live versions.

Thanks for the prize, it's a pity that I knew the track already that you sent me (I actively collect all Mike related music) so I took the opportunity away from someone else who might not know it. :/ I guess I should not participate in the next game. (Though, I'm fond of games like this, I even wrote a PC game around music recognition.)

It's an interesting attitude, I can relate to it, even though I do it elseways, I tend to listen to my most favourite set of music all the time as I can't get bored of them. :)

Mystery 10

This is harder than the other ones as it's speech and not singing. Also, I think it's hard to identify if you don't have the particular song (which is only on a certain disc) from which this is taken. So I will give you a couple of clues:

1. The guy who talks never sings (at least not in public), although he is in a band.
2. What he says is sort-of relevant to who he is. :)

Googling is not allowed! :D

I bet you I've never heard of that band anyway. As for band members, my knowledge about them is as big as a grain of sand. I tihkn I'll pass on this one  :)

@ HR lover: you have surely heard of that band because it is extremely popular, even among people like you who know almost nothing about bands. :D Anyway, if you wish to pass, go ahead...

I don't understand anything of the above [Pinchy? Is it something from the Hibernaculum forum? :D], but yes, Milamber, it's AC/DC - it's Angus Young being interviewed. But I will give you a prize if you guess where the excerpt is taken from. :)

Ok I've heard of AC/DC I even know how they got their name. I'm glad it wasn't some obscure Glaswegian band. I think I've heard of his name although I wouldn't have guessed it was him. My thought was some guy in U2.

@ HR Lover and Milamber: listening back to the clip, I have to say that he doesn't sound Aussie at all - no narrow E's. :D Indeed, you're right, Millie :p... he sounds very English.
