I live in the southern part of Limburg, so I completely agree with you! :D

Any more Dutch people on this forum?

Netherlander... That's directly translated from dutch.

Official english word is Dutch or Dutchsman. ;)

Hmm... those crazy English people with their crazy vocabulairy...

If the Dutch wouldn't have lost New Amsterdam to the English back then, we probably would be talking all Dutch right now. That would be an improvement!  ;)

The word netherlander actually exists in english too, as does hollander - they just aren't used very often.

Mmmm, they never taught me the word Netherlander on school. Nice to know it though, thanks Korgscrew!

Geez, we really are talking about the dutch here a lot.  :D

Oh, I was at a performance of the band where my brother plays guitar yesterday. This guy comes to me (I'm wearing the same Oldfield shirt as on the picture) and wants to take a photo of my shirt because he really loves "Moonlight Shadow".

And on some other places I get comment on my shirt. "Hey, Mike Oldfield!". Nice to know a lot of people still know him (only his old hits though) here in the Netherlands.

I'm living in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK although I am originally from Halesowen, West Midlands.

As for beer, well Bank's Mild will always remind me of drunken teenage weekends but my current tipple is Badger's Golden Glory!

Little bit late but still here... I am from Hungary.. the cheese is bad, the beer is ugly, good old chocolate factories had been bought by multinational companies, so choc. is also bad,  a really poor supply of great older records from other countries ( have 2 travel 2 Austria 2 get such thing as QE2 or Incantations) but lots of people loves Mike here!!! :)

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
And our beer is crap, in fact it's the only product made in this country that is not required to list ingredients.
Presumably it all would not fit on the label.
Give me a Weihenstephaner Hefe any day thanks  :)
