Once upon a time i would have said join the game on Mike's server, but his laptop seems to be busy these days (probably reading all those e-mails about closing his forum).
There are hints and tips on this board under the Maestro thread.
Or when you get the full game (if you want to pay) find some-one else who acts as a server and join them. We all love to help.
BTW - the demo is just a very small taste of the game, there were 2 demo's, one with a castle and 1 with a cave system
