I 'll just want to see what we all have played most, and not why  ;)

Sunset for me (although, come to think of it, I play them all, normally, since they are in a CD player with 5 CD's, and I tend to use the shuffle over the 5 CD's).

I play the whole light CD more than Shade, as i think it's so much better, and Sunset is amazing.

I rescue greyhounds and recently lost two of them to cancer.  Our third also has cancer and is schedule for surgery this Thursday.  She may not survive.  I used "Sunset" as the audio track to a Windows Movie that I made as a tribute to them.  It's bittersweet sound was pefect for the project.

If anyone cares to watch it, you can find it here:

So cute they are.
:)
I hope my cat never gets cancer. Actually I hope nobody ever gets it, it should be banned.

"Our father," hands down (or is that thumbs up?). I'm not listening much to Light at all these days...maybe after the sun starts its northward journey...I dunno. :)

The Gate, without any doubt! I don't know really why, but... I must listen to it!  ;)  :)

I've just listened to Light again this morning - in a completely different frame of mind. With the exception of the gate, I'm starting to like it.

Sunset is the only one I REALLY like on "Light". I did like Angelique until someone said it sounded like "Bugger Me" or "Burger Meat" and now that's all I hear and I can't seriously listen to it anymore! The rest, I'm sorry to say, I find boring. First steps seems strangely empty to me and I prefer the TLII mix using these themes.

However, I love most of Shade. I guess that's the way it is. Most love either Light or Shade - I heard no one say they love both yet, but am happy to be proven wrong. What causes us to like shade over light or vice verca is a huge topic, which a very interesting thread in the general section of the forum started by Korgscrew deals with. :O

That Dog video was great! Cements my theory that Sunset is the perfect music for a positive look back on someone/something's life at their funeral.  :)

Angelique and Our father I find just a little too bland, I like the Gate, First steps is rather a blur to me, I like Blackbird and Rocky too! But my favourite is, and I'm sure will always be, Sunset  :)  I think it's the best track of the whole album

Thanks.  I agree with that statement.  I hadn't even thought of doing a video for the dogs until I heard Sunset.  The CD came just as we were discovering how sick our last dog was and as I listened to the song, it summoned up all kinds of images, both happy and sad.  It just seemed like something I had to do.

Just seen your video, and it had me crying tears in some part, smiles of joy in others.Sunset track on L & S is so beautiful IMO,so very apt when matched with the images on video.Sorry about the sad news, and all good thoughts toward your one going through surgery.

Your dogs are lovely & great to know you're involved with rescue.I sometimes help with similar, and have three rescued animals at home(English Mastiff, collie x dogs & one female cat)my mother used to have rescued Greyhounds, they are a lovely breed ..... better stop now and remember where I am! :)

Wow, what a lovely and moving tribute to your beautiful canine family members. Best wishes for good news and a positive outcome re: today's surgery.

My vote as a piano lover and player goes to the two piano pieces, Blackbird and Rocky. But I don't think that there is a single song from Light that I've played more than the others - I usually play the whole CD from beginning to end. :)
