He gave the world our first chance to hear Mike's music. That's pretty cool.

Back on topic, one of my favourite english words is 'asunder', as in "torn asunder". It sounds so dramatic.

I like asunder. It reminds me of thunder.

How about "Branson". There's an interesting word. I brought that word up once before and it seemed to evoke quite an emotional response from some of you. Saw on the news today he's gonna take 5 people to "inner space", not even outer space. Just enough to be weightless for 5 minutes. Wonder who these 5 people are and how much they are paying. Every time I hear about him and the word "Virgin", I hear Tubular Bells(1). They call him Sir now. Why? What did RB do? Is England a utopia now because of him? Just curious.
Jim

:D Branson translated into French means nothing , but Oldfield yes ! ... Old field = vieux champ ...  :D

Sorry to continue the threadjack...

"Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis"

It's real, though the spelling may be off (wanted to throw my 2 cents in here before someone else beat me to the punch.)

Sounds like silicosis of the lung to me. Yeah I'm a smartass, but then tubularians have come to expect that. It's all in good fun. If you sand blast too much or work in other occupations where you breath a lot of sand(silicon), you get this. Am I right? Am I right?? Am I right???
