It seems that actually this has been out for a while, but I have only just learned of it and have been amused, so I'm sharing it for those who may be unaware that VW have released a commercial pickup and SUV called "Amarok".

Actually, it would be more appropriate for VW to release a model named after the works of Vaughan Williams, such as the Greensleeves or the Tallis.  I'm sure that they'd sell at least one more car worlwide if they did that

The Amarok: all journeys 60 minutes, no breaks.

And then when you're 51 minutes in and enjoying the ride, Margaret Thatcher pops up in the passenger seat and spoils it for you.

I'd happily buy one of these things just because it's called Amarok. Tho' it might be better if I learned to drive first.
