Personally, I like all three and can't even find much common ground between Jarre, Vangelis and Oldfield!  Vangelis is pretty much classically-orientated, Jarre's more commercial and, while Mike comes more from a folk background, he can still work wonders without even touching a synthesizer thus making his work more human and less clinical.

Plus, I agree about "666" too.  That album is so weird, I just have to love it!
