I listened to an album from 1988, a bit before Voyager, by Van Morrison with The Chieftains, both excellent musicians (and of course there are links between Mike and Paddy Moloney of The Chieftains). The album is called Irish Heartbeat, and it's a selection of traditional Irish songs.
Does anyone else feel or think, after listening to both, that Mike probably got a good bit of influence for the Voyager album from Irish Heartbeat? There are two or three songs which are directly on both.
