Nightspore; - do you think of the colour green because the CD cover is very green?

That's a good question, Wiga. The music has a kind of cold, sparse precision about it that reminds me of water - perhaps that's it.

The colour that comes to mind for me is slate blue.

A tome of 5 page story's
None of them boring

Not a place you would be
It really fills your quota
Cant wait for Dakota      :)

Thanks, Milamber. "Foreign Affair" seems to be a song that really inspires you!

Well, blue is a cool colour too (I mean 'cool' literally, here!;), so perhaps we're responding in a similar way.

Yes, I'm thinking particularly at the start of Crisis I, it has a cool logical and precise blue about it. Not baby blue - more slate blue or watery blue.

Actually, I probably think in colours more than I thought.

"Foreign Affair" has a rust or burnt orange colour.

I heart Foreign Affair!

No, we do not agree, wholeheartedly. Foreign Affair rules!

I always think of the organ as having a blue colour, and the trumpet an orange.

... in Crises, or just generally speaking?

Are there any trumpets in Crises?

In general...I was thinking of a sonata for trumpet and organ that I have (by a composer called Viviani - not to be confused with Vivaldi). I don't think there are any trumpets on Crises!

FA - yes, at times boring, repetitive, lyrically wonting but...somehow very hummable.

Nah. As it's "lyrically wonting", singing it is not for me. Humming the tune is as much of it as i like.

It's a gorgeous song. Full of mystery and beauty, the repetitiveness is the quality that makes the song shine.

I think this song, more than 'Moonlight Shadow' is the quintessential track from 'Crises', the one that best summarizes the spirit of the album. Dark, beautiful and mystical.
