Hi Chaps

Just got back from a holiday visiting my family in England. Will now get on the case from this week.

I use Soundcloud to promote my music. We could create this virtual album up there as well to showcase it?

Quietman

If it can be downloaded as a whole, then fantastic.
Maybe you could create an account for "The Tubular Net Group" for us as the day draws closer .  :)

@TT the new mix sounds great to me ,The middle part with your No Mans Land Reprise style guitar is really good and that part I would love to hear expanded upon :D

@NS "I'm barred up over barcodes".....Cooper is never around when you need him :p

@TT Regarding the art is there any chance you could darken the water to look like a lake instead of tropical ocean.

Just out of interest :D

It's a great illustration, isn't it.... But "The Dodge's Palace"? It sounds like Mike Oldfield meets The Beano  :)

@ Nightspore: what is The Beano? Some comedy series, maybe? Apart from that, the back cover used by Tubularman is the fake (bootleg) cover for the "Early Mixes" of TMB, when they first came out.

I thought it was strange that Tubularman should produce such a magnificent picture and then make such elementary mistakes with the track listing.

The Beano is an English comic that has been around since the 1930s. My mother was English, which explains how I, as an Australian, know of it. (It's pretty well unknown outside the UK). It typically has one-page stories about misbehaving children, who have names such as "Minnie the Minx". There's one character called "Roger the Dodger", which is what Tubularman's image reminded me of. Presumably "The Beano meets Mike Oldfield" would have a character called "Mike the Tike".  :) I expect Wiga is very familiar with The Beano.

Yes, I haven't received anything from anyone yet. Don't just send technical data - provide details as to what inspired the piece, whether you think it's one of your best, personal reflections as to its meaning: the sort of information you'd like to read when you buy a CD.

I've now received submissions from Sir M and Ginger D. Everyone else report to Matt's office. :(

Hi,

I've changed the name of my track to 'Ripples' and uploaded an updated version to Soundcloud. I'll be listening to it over the next couple of days and if I'm happy with it as it is now then I'll upload it to our 4shared site...

The link is: http://soundcloud.com/purplerhapsody/ripples-work-in-progress

I've removed the previous version so the old link no longer works...

Cheers,
Terry.
