There's a recording from 1974 on the BBC 2nd House TV program in which Tubular Bells (part 1) was played with more or less the same musicians that played on the premiere. This TV show is included on the Elements DVD. Back to top

The BBC Radio broadcast that I have is also not very good quality - sounds like someone recorded it with a microphone up against their radio...! Maybe there's a better version somewhere!
