I go for Incantations!!
Very good how they can make it sound just like on the LP
But where is the part 3 solo  :(
Never mind, that has been said before...

Mike's music sounds very English and that's cool
It's jolly good, my dear, would you care for another cup of tea :)  :p

Why do you think Mike doesn't go on tour these days, he can't play all by himself on a stage??

(can he??)

i think he's afraid to get empty halls because he hadn't had much succes in the last years...
but he should tour because i saw him in my first ever concert i went to in 1999... remember him playing summit day. from Guitars.. i cried
(yes, i;m a sentimental sissy, i know) :p

None. I hate comparisons between albums, especially Mike's albums. :)

I think I'll go for the "Tubular Bells" disc.

Why? This rocking transformation of "Tubular Bells" is quite different and brilliant. The break in the first section ("Exorcist") when the strings cut in with the bass guitar line is one of the best moments anywhere.

Incantations? The first section IS better in "Exposed". You'd think that the sound would be much better in a studio version, but not here. However, I do prefer both of the trumpets in the trumpet duet to be trumpets, and that short electronic arpeggio that I love so is missing from just before "Diana, Luna, Lucina".

I can't stand that stupid little dance he does when he performs Guilty, he looks like a dweeb leading other dweebs and it puts me off the whole track which is of course quite good.

So I voted for Incantations.

my mistake. I was voting thinking of the music Cd, not the video!

I couldn't agree with this statement more. Wouldn't it be great to find out how this arrangement came about. I think it has something to do with numerous jam sessions, based around Pierre's groove on drums with the bass picking up off that. I don't think it would have been Mikes idea entirely, but then again, he might of had that bass line in his head for years and told the guys exactly what to do. Has Mike ever talked about this arrangement in interviews etc?

Have to go for Incantations. I play TB in all its forms, Amarok, TSODE and Incantations more than the others, though L and S it getting a fair spin at the moment and for me this performance of Incantations just makes me realise how much good it is and how much I enjoy listening to it.

The short interviews at the start was interesting - would have been even more interesting to find some of those involved and see how they look back on the experience.

I nearly voted for TB--I love the fun that they're all having, as well as the arrangement--it's quite a change. But Inc was--well, it's Inc. :D They're both missing a few components that I reallly like on other recordings, so all in all, I'd have to say that I like them about the same--which is quite a lot. :D
