One track guitar-less cover of Introduction + Peace.

Lot of huge mistakes, but it helps me to publish it.

Excellent, especially considering that I'm a keyboardist and I can't play a two-handed rendition of Introduction at all because I get confused with the time sigs. :D What sound patches did you use? Also, why do your mistakes help you to publish it?

P.S.: Next time show us your face!

It's just a piano and a Farfisa organ with lot of volume variations. He used both too in the album too, but at different places. And I can never help to add some phaser to the organ. I was trying to say that publishing it somehow helps me to produce an acceptable take faster.

The Nord has a wonderful piano sound.

The trick to playing that intro bit is putting your right hand on auto-pilot when the time signature changes to 3/4. The right hand basically keeps playing the 7/8 and 9/8 parts over and over again while the left hand plays a simple waltz in 3/4. Clever writing from Mr. Oldfield!

I have very little, if none at all, rhythm, as you can perhaps tell from parts of my interpretation. This might help me in a few rare situations like the TB intro.

Playing with confidence now! That's how it should be.

My only advice would be to slow down the section from 0:23-0:40 (perhaps as little as 5 beats) and play it slightly more legato.

Did you create this arrangement from the David Bedford transcription? You should learn some of the parts in between too, seeing as how this version skips a good 30 minutes of music between Part 1 and Part 2 haha.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, using the David Bedford transcription. Still new to this recording thing, trying to find the balance between confidence/no mistake and not over rehearsed, I like when it sounds and feels "fragile". This is probably a very amateurish attitude, I enjoy when I do a little mistake that I then try to compensate and this brings me to a slightly different interpretation. When I play it twice exactly the same, I'm not so happy. Yet I'm not into jazz.
