My ideal "Tubular Bells 2 Deluxe Edition" would include:

The original TB2 CD (1)
All the singles on a bonus CD (2)
A DVD (region free) of the live concert (3)
and a set of 5 postcards featuring beautiful images of the "Bell" printed on heavy cardstock paper, all contained in a CD-sized laminated box, limited to 500, and each box is personally signed and numbered by MO with a gold or silver sharpie!

Where can I place my order?

What about an evening out with Alan Rickman, with a complimentary iron-on?

:p

Not the early stages tracks? Sentinel early stages > sentinel.

The point is that adding extra material to TB2 would spoil it - its unity and its flow of musical ideas. It would be a musical paintjob - Tubular Bells Dulux.

There's probaly more material from the "early stages" of the recordings. Personally I love "early stages" and it speaks volumes of how good TBII could have been .

On the contrary, from what I've heard of the early stages, MO made exactly the right decision to release TB2 in its current form.  In fact, I don't think I've heard a single early stage of any of his works that I've preferred to the final version.
