Hi,

I've just uploaded a little cover version of Tubular Bells part 2.
I've recorded it an evening on my ATARI Falcon 030.

Rather nice :-) Well done. It has the original spirit of TB

PS Olivier: it works if you right-click and choose save target as...

Wow, nice and dreamy!
A pity that it's so short. Will you make a longer version, DOCs?

I played this piece of music to test recording on my ATARI Falcon. So I play Oldfield's music for my pleasure. Yet, I'm writing a frequency rate converter. Then I will record my own music.
But I could record excerpts of oldfield's pieces. ( like Taurus 2 ).

Yes, it is rather short, but I think it works quite well like it is. It sounds quite a simple piece. I know it is short but it dosen't change much throughout the piece: it seems like a short demo to try out a tune.

I agree with the rest.

But is it just my imagination, or is it true that the guitar sometimes puts a strange stress on some notes, especially in the beginning? Bit odd, IMHO. But I don't know much about guitars (I'm probably the only one as an Oldfield fan), so that opinion doesn't really count.

Anyway, nice job!

I would like to say that it's just a test demo.
We can hear some errors. This piece was made for testing my ATARI Recording Setup. Guitars wasn't recorded through microphones.

It's only recorded through preamps, with few effects.

It was just recorded in few minutes.
But I decided to put this piece on my site, when I heard pieces of Oldfield's fans.
