Nope, I haven't played the game. I have no idea what I might think about it, since I have never played anything similar. The closest I've been to the game is the Tr3s Lunas II compilation, which I'm not attracted to at all. But the game could make a difference, indeed.
Truthfully, I'm no specialist in "Chill Out", but for what I heard about it, it's pretty specific. There are many kinds of music that are calm, relaxed, and have no kind of disturbance or edge to it. But since a label called "Chill Out" exists, it must have a reason - and it seems to be used to determine exactly the kind of music that clubbers listen to relax. It's the aural opposite to Techno music - but the sound and production is very similar. To me, it gives the impression that those people who go to Rave parties and such can't listen to Brian Eno or Harold Budd - no, they have to listen to CHILL OUT, and that's why the "genre" exists. It all just sounds a bit silly to me, I dunno. I didn't mean to criticise the music.
