Not in any particular order.....

- Bush's Beans (on second thought, this is #1)
- Progresso soup
- anything Pillsbury
- spinach (got to get the A and C somehow)
- Stag chili (before they ruined it with thickening agent)
- beer (on third thought, this is #1.... beer is food)
- laughter
- responses
- music (actually no; Mike's music is never canned)
- Vienna sausages (Austrian spam)

You don't find great music. It finds you.

Lars, I haven't seen canned eggs, but I agree that it sounds unappetizing. Then again, maybe it's one of those things you have to try once in your lifetime? Has anyone, here, tasted canned eggs?

Hmmm. I think it's pretty evident who has kids, here. :D

Gladstoner, I'd forgotten that Pilsbury refrigerator biscuits come in 'cans'. They're handy for various dishes including chicken pot pie when you don't want to bother making a pie crust - just plop some biscuit rounds on top! I've also had some tasty Progresso soups, though I have to add black pepper and hot sauce to their clam chowder. When it comes to spinach, I prefer either frozen, or fresh (lightly wilted over heat).

Olivier, that chestnut spread sounds interesting. Do you put it on toast?

Well I have to confess I`m a big fan of Mr Squarepants, kids or no kids.Although the kids did get me into it I`ll admit. But yeah the first couple of seasons of that show were very amusing, and highly imaginitive I thought.Plus as well as being well made it was always very stylish and kind of retro cool I guess. And the Spongebob album Best Day Ever is just a mini pop masterpiece.Seriously it`s one of the best "concept albums" I`ve ever heard, great stuff!

Toast, or even better, crêpe (thin pancake).

That's extra mouthwatering, Olivier, since I haven't had a crepe in years. Makes me want to whip some up even though I only have strawberry jam to use as filling. I'm all out of eggs, though. Think they'll ever come out with 'Canned Crepes'??

Canned food isn't as common as it used to, at least not here in Sweden. Beans, fruit and pet food are the only canned products that the Swedes seems to buy.
But with the inflow of refugees from the balcans in the 90s came the "foreign-store", the little shop that sells the most amazing canned things like rooster sausage and the vegetable that is on the cover of Can's "Ege Bamyasi". This is kind of sad because I imagine that the people who buy these products canned in Sweden would rather buy them fresh from the local market in their home countries. So canned food to me is like food for people in exile.

Yes, Pet food as well...

We have Wiskas cat food and apparently "8/10 cats prefer it" - I think that might be true. My cat prefers it,  and I have to admit that it looks and smells yummy - a similar smell to Pek Chopped Pork actually.

I have two elderly boys of the very same feline variety (they're 20 this year!). I give them canned tuna, which is another things which is canned most of the time. I know tune "steaks" has become more popular the last couple of years, must most of the time it's canned (either in water or in oil). And it's quite nice actually, so that must go into my canned food top 10.

What BBE wild birds like cat food  , or they like it that they don't end up as catfood.

Wow Lars 20 that's some age for cats, I know they  can live 15 years or so, wonder what 20 cat years is in human years
:O
