I think I can help on the "Wind Chimes" chant. Those vocal sounds are part of a dramatic presentation called the "Kecak," from the Indonesian island of Bali (which I seem to recall Mike visited shortly before recording "Islands"). In the Kecak, 100 or more men and boys sit in concentric circles around a flame. They sway back and forth, wave their arms and sing music which seems like a series of sounds, hisses and more conventional melodies. Those sounds which show up in "The Wind Chimes Part 2" are supposed to imitate the sounds of monkeys chattering in the trees. The Kecak is sometimes done on its own, sometimes as part of a semi-staged drama (with actors, dances, costumes, etc.) portraying scenes from the Indian epic "Ramayana." I think I read that Mike recorded kecak, gamelan, and other music in Bali and then used the Fairlight to edit those sounds for his own use. You can find more details about Kecak on the Web; part of a Kecak performance also shows up in the film "Baraka" from a few years ago. Hope this helps.
