I've known the answer to this for years but I may as well post it here "for the record".
As is well known, the release of the Pink Floyd albumThe Division Bell came with an attached puzzle: "The Publius Enigma".
The solution to this is that Mike has been the guiding influence behind Pink Floyd since the year dot. It's "crystal clear" - if you'll pardon the pun - when you think about it: the very presence of the word "bell' in the title is a sign saying "Here there be Mike Oldfield" Mike likes puzzles too - think of the blue shield puzzle in Maestro. He also likes the word "enigma" - cf "Enigmatism".
I believe the prize was a tree or something, but I'll happy donate that to whomever wants it.
