I know that Mike Oldfield underwent "exegesis" during the middle of making "Incantations".

Is there any clear idea which parts are pre-exegesis, and which are post-exegesis?

As far as I remember, the whole of part 3 was composed after exegesis. For the other parts, the line is a bit blurred as some bits were composed before and some after. More than half of part 1, before the percussion comes in, may well date from before exegesis, as well as most of part 2, but I think that the sung bits in parts 2 and 4 (the 'poetic' ones) were all written after. Anyway, I think that Korgscrew knows more than me. ;)

Exegesis?  Sounds painful - this could explain why he now has so many wrinkles???

What does it mean?

it was the very intense therapy he had. They helped people to get rid off all anger and frustrations. I remember reading they get so intense that people are even puking and going all weird. It must have helped Mike though,, as he even (shortly) married the daughter of the course instructor. (If I read correctly)

They divorced after a month

I thought under UK law a couple had to be married a year before getting a divorce, unless the law has changed. Maybe they lived separate for 2 years, and both Mike and his wife agreed to the divorce.
