Taken from Peter Evans, Dark Star Website The show was recorded on November 30th, 1973 in the BBC Studios for BBC2. Line-up was: Mick Taylor (gtr), Mike Oldfield (gtr, bass), Steve Hillage (gtr), Mike Ratledge (keyb), Karl Jenkins (horns), Fred Frith (gtr), Derek Bailey (gtr) & Henry Cow Band Telecast was probably in early 1974 (repeated on June 27th, 1974). Posts: 545 Joined: Mar. 2004 Posted: Mar. 10 2004, 06:15 I presume that clip comes from the transmission (if the VH1 version is the one that´s featured as an excerpt in the Elements video). You can tell by the background images (water etc.). The full version lasts about half an hour and consists of Tubular Bells Part 1. No other performance from that period comes to my mind. What does he do? He's not on the "second house" performance for sure. BTW, Second House is perhaps the ultimate performance of TB part 1 if you ask me!
