Just received 2 copies of TB 2003 ( 4 disk set ), for me and my daughter .

There appears to be an audio  'glitch' when playing the TB single on the DVD disc.

When playing with DTS decoding, there is a jump at approx 1m 33 seconds, this appears on both copies.

Is this my player (Pioneer 717), or has anyone else noticed this ?

Cheers.

Hello shadow,

I'm a new one on this board and I have bad news:
It isn't your player, it's the dts matrix. The sound suspends at least twice briefly. I was very disappointed when I heard it on Sunday. :O
The dts sound is amazing and these errors are unpardonable.

Warner hasn't answered until now. Honestly, I don't expect any answer. Or do you have other experiences?

Sorry, my English isn't so good... :(

Thomas

Warner Music Germany sent a standard answer. :(

Looks like Warner have given people another reason to send it back and demand a refund - I'm amazed they managed to screw things up so well!

Their standard answer they sent back shows how little they care about their customers. As long as they have your money, they don't give a monkey's about whether the product works properly or not. When people start claiming their money back, then Warner will begin to care...

Thanks for your replies,

In a way I'm relieved it's not my player, but stil damn annoyed like yourselves that the amazing sound of DTS is spoiled by such a stupid error.

I know it's 'only' the video, but surely they have quality control, or perhaps they guy(girl) thought if one soundtrack is OK , then they all must be ?

I hadn't got in touch with Warner yet, but now I know it's more than me, I'll be on the phone first thing tomorrow.

I'll let you know what excuse they give me !

Cheers to all.

I cannot sign this so. The standard answer they sent back to me says, that I should exchanging the TB2K3 set at my local dealer. However, this is nonsense if I get a DVD with the same errors back. I think, Warner can exchange a complete edition of DVDs or has anyone a fault-free DVD?
I will see what Warner Germany replies next week.

Thomas

Has anyone noticed their TB2003 CD stopping dead on track seven with a personnel portable CD player.

I have tried it three times and it stopped on the same track for no apparent reason, yet it works on my Hi-fi ok, weird !!!!

Wonder if it has to do with that new copy protection stuff.

I think I will ask for a new CD.

P.S.    I checked out my portable player with other CD's and its working fine, make:- Goodmans.

I had a similar problem with a computer I tried it in - it would only play up to I think track 9.

I'd be fairly certain that it is the copy protection which is at fault.
