In these hours it is exactly 15 years since the premiere of TB 2 at Edinburgh. I remember the moods and feelings in those days very well, the album was released the week before, in Denmark it was anyway, and even Danish newspapers were writing about Oldfield and the concert. An exciting time.

And I remember sitting on a tiny chair in front of Eidinburgh castle, f*** freezing while the scotsmen around me seemed to be very relaxed in their t-shirts.

But it was an awesome concert but just so short!

:(

And it´s been 9 years since the premiere of Tubular Bells 3 on Horse Guards Parade where I earned my nickname for sitting in this bloody pouring rain.

:(

Dunno about that I'm from Edinburgh and I was bloody freezing that night too.
I remember being pretty disappointed by that concert to be honest. After all the build up it was very very short, it was a note for note replaying of TB2, very few of the musicians looked like they were even getting into it and as for John Gordon Sinclair - what were they thinking?
I wish I'd gone to the TB3 premiere though, it looked fantastic and everybody on stage in contrast looked like they were really enjoying themselves.

Funny... when you watch the video it doesn't look like it's that long ago...
The sound/vision quality is so very high...

The TB2 video looks more mature and classy
The TB3 video looks more alive and passionate...

I wish I would have seen any of those concerts...
Even if it was freezing or hotter than Sahara desert :D

huh? I think in TB2 the dvd..it's very obvious that all the musicians are very into it...it's what makes the dvd so highly enjoyable. It looks like they're having the time of their life.

Mike still looks good too.
