Swords Game World (unofficial)

Go to this set of ringheads at position 10 on the map. Touch the nearby green crystals so you can shoot rings.

Set your speed to 3 (just press the '3' key while the game is running - this is essential as you have to move fast). Stand well back from the rightmost ringhead (only practice will tell you how far), and fire a stream of rings at the ringhead. Run like mad towards the lake, to your right, and keep running until you hear a tinkling sound. That sound tells you you've escaped the ringhead and entered Swords Game World. The barriers will all be down; you can go (almost) anywhere you like, including the daliphants. (I say 'almost', because if you come back to the ringheads, you'll find yourself in the swords game, and the barriers will restore themselves.)

If it hasn't worked, then you must have missed the ringhead with your stream of rings. Just go back and try again.

There's a lot to see in this world. The view from the top of the volcano is spectacular, and you can spend ages up there, or by the daliphants, or far above the clouds, watching the ever-changing light on the surface of the ocean. There's a feeling of fresh, clear air and open spaces. When you're out there, it seems incredible to think that Mike and Colin never intended you to be out here, doing this, and seeing all these superb views.

To get out of Swords Game World and return to normality, just fly back to the ringheads. You'll find the swords game running, and the barriers will surround you again. Go through the arch to get back to the origin.

In Swords Game World, you can fly as high and as far as you like. You can even visit that beautiful ringed planet that hangs in the Tr3s Lunas sky. You can fly all around it. You can even land on it.

There's also a bit of a mystery here. When you play the swords game normally (as you're 'supposed' to do), if you win you're sent to a large spaceship high above the earth. So you might expect that big spaceship to be here in Swords Game World. The odd thing is that sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn't, and no one so far as I know has figured out why. (Don't be misled by the 'usual', smaller, shiny spaceship that flies at low altitude over Tr3s Lunas all the time. I'm talking about a much bigger spaceship, much higher up). There's a view from above the large spaceship, looking down towards the smaller one, here. And in this picture, you can get some sense of how much higher is the upper spaceship compared to the lower one.

If you fly too close to the large, higher spaceship, the barriers will return, and you'll lose your freedom of movement.
