Oldfiled.de says that "Surfing" will be played and promoted in the Spanish radio station Cadena100 during the next(few?) days.

Someone please record it! It would be so cool!

The single will be a Edit of the Orginaltrack. (none remix)

It's on the eMule network, it took a while to download though.
It's a very good track, a bit poppy but a lot better than To Be Free.

Strange you don't see any source but it took me while before it started even though there was a source.
I don't think it matters what server you're on. I always let eMule chose it, right now it's connected to a server with the S-word in it, so I won't say its name here.

Good old e-mule, took about 15 minutes to get it.

What to think? A low quality version, so probably not fair to judge it on this version. Nice enough, good album track, and I'm sure i will grow into a favourite. But as choice for first single? Not sure what market it is aimed at, and it is not as impactful as Tears. Perhaps the idea is to warm up with this and release Tears as second single?

Oh, and the final few seconds when the guitar comes in again, it's just not enough. I want more! I can just hear a really great crescendo waiting in there to be unleashed, then the track finishes.

Just heard surfing there and in my poinion it's better than Tears of an Angel!  Very atmospheric.

It's definitely a big grower. Again shit loads of power and atmosphere and a sense that a lot of thought went into it, brilliant. The climax is superb but I agree with Andy he could have done more with the guitar solo but I guess we'll have to see what the album version is like, this may be a radio edit. But cheesy it aint, its weirdly quite dark. With the right video it could be OK as a single but there is so little importance in singles these days that I almost don't see the point, Spain may be a different market place though.

Hey, that drum loop in the background is the same as Edoardo's Inside theme!

Wow, it took me 30 seconds to download it :) low quality is the reason. Very Enigma-tic, this one. It doesn't exactly sound like a huge hit to me...

I would assume that this will be a big hit, maybe not in the UK but in Spain and Germany.  It has a very catchy vocal part, i can see it being danced up as well!

The big wallop of a break in the middle really makes it I think, its fantastically powerful, I can't wait to hear that turned up really, really loud. I also like the way the track is quite slow and ponderous, kind of weaves about as it builds. The background synth part is quite nice too if you listen to carefully.

I reckon the Shade part of this album is going to be the better one, on the evidence so far anyway.

Not sure what you are trying to say about the two bonus tracks, can you explain this a little better please? I have ordered my cd from CDWOW and because it was cheaper I am assuming that I will miss out on the two bonus tracks. Are they on the dearer versions?
