Since the last update of the Sonic Virtual Reality, the site has been transfered on some ftp sites. And if you use a proxy, like me, to connect to the internet, you can't see anything ! You have to manage with your system administrator to allow you to see this kind of site ! And if he doesn't want to allow you... Too bad !
So the Sonic Virtual Reality adventure is finished for me unless I found another way to connect myself to the internet...
Why can't be this site a normal http site ? frown

Don't worry about that...the only thing that the site downloads from an FTP (as far as I know) is the [ugly smile]Sonic VR logo. Everything else is still in HTML...but now there's not much to see (or hear) on the site: the sound samples are disappeared (but you can still find 'em on www.venture.force9.co.uk) and the images are, IMHO, nothing better than the previous ones... smile

I don't agree Ugo, I can't see anything, I'm exactly in the same case : no logo, no image (I guess Vinz and me got the same sys-admin wink), I just have the number of visitor...
I'll wait the next album...

That's very strange, GMOVJ...
I have a normal Dial-up connection and I see everything...no direct download from FTP sites.
Anyway, I repeat, right now there's nothing really worth seeing or hearing. I'd advise you to try again in September... wink

Even MO said that He's not involved in New Age (I don't remember where I saw this...) ! Webmaster must understood Terry instead of Mike ! wink

Why V reality will not be sucessfull:
1-Mike´s music is great but there no chance to compete visually with big companies with the knowlegde to do (if they wanted) at least 100 times better (namely Squaresoft, namco).
2-No one will by a Pc program with just music and image. They´ll buy videogames.
3-Pc is no longer the choosen plataform for entertainment (PlayStation consoles are).
4-Peter Gabriel experiences in these area were good but didn´t sell.
5-Who would like to play "Myst" or "Riven" without a plot.
6-Mainly internet users are on-line from their offices while working, they won´t be able to listen to loud music while there.
7-Mike Olfield name stands for music not images.
8-Music is about emotions not hi-tech gerated envoirements
Please forget the CD, focus on the DVD.There´s no point in interaction with 14"" screen.

I doubt that Mike even realises that 14" screens still exsist wink Take a look at his giant plasma screen he shows off in that mpeg video on the site...
