ello all

this might sound a bit weird but this question is for anyone who has bought the reissue series (the one's where the spines all line up create to a picture of the tubular bell)

anyhow, my copy of islands seems to be a bit wrong. it doesn't seem to quite fit the picture (and yes, i have got them all in the right order!

i had to order this from amazon as none of the shops round here sell many oldfield CDs, just the famous titles really so I've no way of just checking if it's just my copy that's misprinted or if it's a general thing)

so I just wondered if someone could advise me whether theirs looks a bit "off" too!

You're welcome.

I'm not too impressed by the spine picture on the 2000 remasters, because it doesn't compensate for the space between, ie the jewel cases. Unlike the Free reissues - the guitarist of which, funnily enough, was an inspiration for Tubular Bells. :cool:

heh...I know what you mean..they dont *quite* work, even allowing for "islands" being dodgy, the different colouring doesn't really help either.

never mind though, they sound pretty bloomin' good!
