Do someone know how to read the .snd files, while I'm waiting the update for the Voodoo cards ?
I'd like, at least, listen the music...

I think Goldwave can play .snd files. Get it from www.maz-sound.com (the only site you need for sound related software)

They aren't proper .snd files. In theory, I have software that should play them - it's a format used by some unix based machines. On doing that, it tells me (with the one I was sent) that it is at 8012Hz, with 16 bit ยต-law encoding. It may be right on the encoding, but the sampling rate is totally wrong - the file I have that is meant to be a few seconds plays for 30 and gives little more than noise. Looked at in a waveform editor, it does look like it should be something meaningful, just it doesn't play back as that. It needs something that plays it back as the correct 44.1kHz (or whatever it is).
I may have a solution, but then again I may not - if it works I'll let people know.
