Your music has a characteristic sound of it's own and I'm trying to pinpoint it; - it has a rural Virginia feel about it (not sure if that's the right state) - but there are folk sounds and instruments you might find in "The Waltons" series . -------------- Barn's burnt down - now I can see the moon. It was just a violin phrase as I have a kids size one on loan. Other real instruments in there are mandolin, banjo , 12 string, Spanish , Dulcimer harp and my late granddad's accordion. Back to top

It (Hibernal) was really recorded as a TV cue but as I am hopeless at playing the violin I got some nice phrases out of it. Mind you, it is a kids one. The Cello sound was from my Yamaha Motif which is quite good. It sits well with the violin. Would love a Cello. Back to top

You've perfectly captured the mood of the track and the Oldfieldian atmosphere, even if, of course, Mike already did his own version of "Silent Night". @ Jim B.: your version isn't metal at all to me [it's more Zeppelin-esque rock-blues than metal!] and it isn't at all silly.
