Burning Fish Group: Members Posts: 75 Joined: Feb. 2007 Posted: June 02 2009, 12:35 I had a quick look through the Ultimate Edition today at work. And it seems to be a very decent package. The 60-page hardcover book felt sturdy and the plectrums have a tubular bell printed on them. I didn't have the time for an extensive look (I'm supposed to work at... work), but my first expressions on the package were very positive. No cheap stuff in there! 'Fry-Up' is indeed the term that was used, and very appropriate it was too unfortunately. The distortion during the climax of Part one - the bell striking and the choir - was awful. Also during some of the very quiet passages in Part 2 you could hear a faint crackling - ruining the whole atmosphere of the album. Strangely enough the 'thunderstorm' section of Part 2 seemed unaffected - it's probably too loud to hear anything else   Back to top
