Okay, I know Romance is a piece of classical music and the name Tchaikovsky keeps suggesting itself, but I can't nail it.

Can you?

btw, I just spelled Tchaikovsky right without looking it up! :)

Yes, it's classical - its best-known version was arranged and recorded on classical guitar by Narciso Yepes. But neither he  nor Tchaikovsky nor anyone else really wrote the piece - as I mentioned in a new topic I iust posted, the original writer is unknown. It was probably a lute piece from the 1500s.
