so i still have not gotten the cd, so i downloaded of Itunes...

review of some sorts:
Don't call it a return to form, because Mike has delivered his A-game the last decade. Music of the Spheres proved Mike can still compose wonderful melodies. MOTR showed Mike can actually write pop/rock songs with his heart in it and not forced by Virgin.

This album does not let down, despite it's name. It's only downside could be that it doesn't go as deep emotionally as the original. It stays on the bright/happy side for the most. Just like TB2. Fortunately, this one is not carved from a beat by beat template from the original. It stands on it's own and it's a wonderfull addition to Mike's impressive discography. Forgotten are the late 90's with mediocre albums such as guitars, the millenial bell, tr3s lunas and L+S. If he keeps this string up, I might be tempted to call this his third golden era.
