It' s a pity part of 'Tres Luna' is repeated on 'Light and Shade'

It's also a pity that Mike's last few albums haven't even charted - M Bell, Tres Lunasm, Platinum Collection and L&S

Hmmm...

chart succes isn't that important, but yet again, it IS a bit important yes  ;)
It worried me too a little bit :)

Hopefully it'll all change with the magnificent new album coming

I didn't like the repetition either, especially when it's the longest track on Light & Shade.  First Steps, Four Winds and Mont St Michel are the only long tracks from Mike since Amarok (apart from Art in Heaven).  I thought First Steps might be brand new, and good... but it's just a rehash.  Shame...

And yes, there is a new album coming soon(ish).  Mike has said he is working on a long instrumental in three parts, harking back to his 70s albums.  He's then going to tour (I think?).  I think it all sounds very exciting :D

He said he wanted to tour with a album he could tour with. And it was not easy to do this with the new albums he have done to the present time.

i think, it is not impossible to not play trance or electronica songs live. Like Ladytron do. All the music is played by hands and not loops, even if it sounds like that. They play live with
drums real and they play all the synth. (really cool to listen)

There are some good songs i really love in L+S, and i would not be sad if he played Blackbird, First steps, Resolutions and Tears of an angel. Same with Tres Lunas, like the songs; Landfall and Tres lunas.
But a orginal concert would be part one of Tb bells, and a quiet part of tb part 2 ;)
Ommadawn experpt, new tunes, punkadiddle, and some other good tracks he have.
