I  could already imagine, a part 4 with all vibraphones mixed out.  :p

Heck, that WOULD be 'an incident' of travesterical proportions!

(Not sure if 'travesterical' is a word Incantations)? ;)

actually part 4 in quad mix would be something, there's enough going on with the vibes for each speaker I think, a real bind boggling piece of music - I might even fork out for one of those surround sound things just for that, I haven't bothered with one so far because I just can't see the point(although I'd have to put it away each time as my wife wouldn't put up with it!;)

Have recently acquired surround sound myself and it's worth it.
Just turn it up when your wife goes out.  :)

 Vibraphones and EVERYTHING mixed out of the middle!! That would be a massive "Incident."

It appears mike found the middle of  Incantations to be a bit of a drag, and since he is the neighbor of Nightspore, he decided to take a bit of advice from him, that 'incident free version' of Incantations was the result.

Yes, I was pleased to hear "Top of the Morning" when I went to check the letterbox today! :D

Incantations, I hope you and your significant other had a pleasant stay in the Brighton hotel.  :D

I'm really loving Incantations at the moment.  If you had have asked me 2 months ago my top 5 Mike Oldfield Albums it woudn't be in it.  How things change as now it would easily reach no 2, possibly number 1.

Previously Part 1 and 4 were really the only parts I would listen to, now I appreciate all 4 parts.  They all have excellent moments.

Very fond memories of the concerts.....I saw Incantations both at Wembley Arena and at the Conference Centre. I couldnt believe the sheer number of performers....notable people were Maddy Prior and the choir of girlies that Im sure Mike hand picked, and Pierre and Benoit doing there best to imitate Animal from Sesame St. Id never heard of Vibraphones prior to this, but can recall vividly Pierre playing away like someone possessed. Magical memories!
Later I went on to buy Downwind and Time is the key By PM's Gong, and treasure them to this day...RIP Pierre

Oh, and I too still have the vinyl, carefully kept in the plastic sleeves!
