I think so. It's quite funny from one perspective, 'cause it's absolutely the same progression Santana uses in 99.9% of his music. On the other hand, Zappa lays down a totally insane, badass solo which I believe employs the whole-tone scale at one point. So I definitely think it's worth hearing.

I listened to punkaddidle the live version this wednesday. And I really love it. The way he plays with the audience is incredible! I am really happy to have found live at montreux I really love it.

Yeah, it's an awesome DVD. Although Maggie Reilly's outfit gives me nightmares.

It was only after hearing/watching the Montreux version that I really loved Punkadiddle, the live version is astounding, and really displays how melodic Mike's guitar playing is.
