I did this today on my day off from work, its a sample of Platium4 from the live at Montreux 81 dvd

its not perfect and just thought I'd let you listen
and ofcourse, no real instruments were harmed in the process

I really really like what you've done here Blue Tape, the main groove with the long sample is superb (thought the sample could be a little louder). The piano tune that goes with it is also great. I think you could develope this track more, I hope you do - take another day off work!

thanks for the comments, I've finally got 2 weeks of work now :D
I'm gonna work hard in completing my first album!!! before was just demo tracks from the past 10 years but this is shameless advertising from me so shame on me!! :cool::cool:

but posters dont be shy in telling me what you think and i admire honesty so please let me know what you think.

Good job!
Platinum for me comes right after Tubular Bells III and Ommadawn
kool job. I love what the guitar does in the background.
Kinnda electronic, but still very nice! ^^

You should find the Philip Glass track "Etoile Polaire (North Star)" which is where that bit of Platinum comes from, it might give you some other ideas about where that could go.
