(Who can forget them dressed up as air hostesses in the Club Tropicana video?!). In 1987 Pepsi and Shirley signed to Polydor Records (as you've guessed it "PEPSI AND SHIRLEY"!) and released a few singles: Goodbye Stranger, Hightime, All Right Now, Heartache etc. I'm not sure if they released an album together.. I didn't think she was right for 'moonlight shodow' however, her voice just didn't have the right 'folkyness'. Mirium Stockley's version didn't work either for the same reasons, she made it start to sound like a caberet number. Back to top
