haha, Pat Metheny does the same concept that Mike did with "Guitars".
But more..., he does not only trigger instrumental samples, he triggers real instruments with his midi-acoustic guitar . And finally he will make a tour the next months with player-pianos, a lot of vibes, glockenspiel etc and his guitar. All played and recorded by himself.

He's coming to Austin soon. I'm going for sure. Paramount theater, very nice intimate place for music. If you count the Pat Metheny group plus his non-group albums, I think there's 25 to 30 albums by now.
