Well here it is, part two. If you have heard Pt1 and 3 you are in for a surprise, it is a big step in a different direction to both of them. Some of you may hate it while others might enjoy, but give it a good listen before you make any judgement.

The rhythm guitar sounds terrible, my apologies. i was unable to rectify this without big problems. The rest of the mix sounds satisfactory though. Anyway all comments are appreciated greatly. :)

Heh, I'm not afraid of this sort of music; I spent my teenage years listening to stuff like Dream Theater. This does sound very good -- you're a very talented guitar player.

Dream Theater are my favourite band and biggest influence other than Oldfield.

Very nice, dude...I got a sort of similar style part created in my upcoming instrumental. Good job! How many more parts to this opus are you gonna create? I'd love more!

Well hopefully 3 more...

I'm working on part 4 which will be an electronic section. Part 5 will be a short blues/funk/jazzy section with plenty of melody and improvisation. Part 6 i have made no plans for, i'll just let the thing come naturally :) maybe a bit of new age/electronic.

I waited a few days to add comments, because I wanted to give the piece time to grow on me first. I'm not quite used to this kind of style (yet). ;)

But this actually is very good. This really is a piece where the right tones come at the right moment. I especially adore the bass guitar part at 2:02.

Maybe a tiny bit of criticism: at the end the sound should get a bit more time to fade away. The little 'blip' at 2:45 is a bit of a shame now. :)

But damn... this is just excellent! Once again a great piece of you!
