Mike Oldfield though to name TB, "Opus One" or "Breakfast in Bed". If Mike named this album "Opus One", can we think that in 1992 we were listening "Opus Two" and in 1999, "Opus Three"? Or something like to "Lunch in the table" or "Dinner in restaurant"? smile

Possibly an idiot topic, but answers are welcome wink

If TB was Opus 1, then what we now know as HR would have been Opus 2 (as with classical music), and TBII would have been Opus 15, and so on. smile smile

Breakfast in Bed was not Mike's thought, but Richard Branson's... he wanted something to fit with the "bleeding egg" photo, later recycled for HO. smile If Mike really wanted to call his album "Breakfast in Bed", he would have USED that photo... don't you think??? biggrin biggrin

If Opus 15 sounds odd, or dinner at the restauraunt, just think how different it would all be if MO had called his first album "Hergest Ridge" and his second album, "Tubular Bells". although that scenerio would most likely not make any sense, considering Tubular Bells is announced in the 1st album, not the second. But oh well. Opus One doesn't sound that bad of a title at all. It discribes the length of the album, that's for sure.
