Hi.

Ommadawn seems to be a popular subject for covers - and why not. Part 2 seems like a good candidate for some solo piano. Here's a short clip. Maybe I'll learn some more later.

I'm sure going to try anyway.  :)

One of my favourite pieces of Mike. It does sound nice on piano, and you play it really well. Personally, I would rather repeat the introduction just twice, while extending the second part, but that's just a matter of taste :)

One of my all time favourite parts. I heard you playing it really nicely, and I also wanted to be able to play that!

Half an hour later, I had found the notes and chords to play the first, slowest part of it. I'm really happy now :).

Very nice rendition of a beautiful piece!

A slightly different approach to a partly different section:

Another Ommadawn pt. 2 piano clip

No real instruments harmed. It's "RealPianos" VST and an ancient weighted 88 key Yamaha digital piano. No chea...sequencing. Hence some glitches. ;)

Off to learn some more now...

I really like your 2nd piano piece. Much nicer than the 1st, and more of my fav. parts of the album. The piano preset was more realistic than the 1st one. Another soft synth? Well done....

I also like the second one more. And not only because of the piano sound, which on the first one was a trial version of "Modartt Pianoteq".
