OK here's my opinion (for what it's worth).

I like what you've made of it, though I cannot compare it with the original.

All in all I can say I can clearly hear that you've put a lot of efford and time in this one.

I expected an african drum section, but in choosing this very soft percussive sound you made a good alternative.

One thing though. When Mike made this album he wasn't in his best state of mind. Your recording frightens me even more.....

hahah... hmm I am in the emotional part of my life a little similar to Mike I think...as he said in an interview "I have great highs and great lows" so...

sorry for the late reply, but I'm a bit behind with closer listenin' to (longer) stuff I've dlded during the last months, but this one was a very good choice for the early evening (also for the late evening, early morning, whatever)......
