The Official Mike Oldfield Information Service has set up a MVR support form where you can post your problems (only those related to MVR  ;))

I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE THIS !!!! (support !?!?)

I AM GOING THERE NOW !!

After reinstalling the *&"@$% software again ("MVR internal error"every time I tried to run it since a few days) it asked me to register again, which I did, I then copied the patch 1.1a (which solved the bloody sound problem I had since the VERY BEGINNING), it asked me to register again, which I did, "key limit reached, your key will be reactivated in 19 days" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can't f*****g believe this.

I go there now. The bad news of the day comes with the good news of the day ! Thanks Olivier, I'll try this and keep everybody informed.

Well, the "support forum" is actually a submission page. Nothing like a forum...

And why don't they put this on MO MVR site but The Official MO Information Service instead ? Strange.

So I submitted my problem (*) and it said "submitted".
This is a start, wait & see.

:/

(*) funny detail : they ask you *plenty* of details on your config, there's a huge list of graphic cards manufacturers, and nVidia is not in it !! nVidia is the "official" GC supported by MVR...

well, read the topic of this discussion again - as it says, it's a  'Support Form', not 'Forum'..
Besides, AFAIK NVidia doesn't sell graphics cards, only chipsets.

Well, in French we call that "jouer sur les mots", or "enculer les mouches" (*) (the chipset / graphic card point).

And in French, how do we say ? "bugger" !!! Ok, it's a form, not a forUm, and it's EFFECTIVE : they answered my post THIS MORNING, couldn't believe my eyes. The key is unlocked now. I could register. And guess what, now I get the "MVR internal error" again !!!  :/

But at least I have some support (and a pretty fast one apparently !;) now  :cool:
