Sorry if this has been mentioned before. I was asked this question by a fan on You Tube and as I have heard nothing about it, I was wondering if anyone heres knows what he is talking about.

Thanks.

Hi,
Love the page, here is question for you, in the 1980's Mike Oldfield composed a piece of music for the BBC's archeaological programme Chronical which was about the Sutton Hoo Ship Burial in Suffolk. Its a great peice however I do not know what it is called and have not come across it since.

ANy ideas?

All the best,

Anthony.

AFAIK,the piece that Mike wrote for this documentary is called Sutton Hoo.

Does anyone else think this sounds more like Vangelis than an Oldfield piece?

Listen to Mohribold; an epic musical tapestry that weaves between a multitude of genres.

Andrew Taylor's Mohribold album has proved very popular with fans of symphonic-rock, prog-rock, psych-folk and indeed Oldfield's classic albums!
