I dunno.....somehow I think that today Mike's thinking out his next musical move. I've had birthdays in the past where all I did was indulge myself in music. Whether I planted myself on the couch and listened to other's music, or got a severe bug up my ass to record hard and heavy that day. One such birthday was my 26th in 1987. Look closely into the musical instrument photo archives here and you will find the Oberheim DX drum machine. Used on Crises, most notably "Foreign Affair". I spent that birthday learning the OS of that unit, and was in Heaven! The OS was copied by Alesis, many others, still used today. I get the feeling that Oberheim DX was a birthday gift for MO. Don't ask me why. Anyway, Mike, it's funny how the dots connect in the timeline. Your "products" were no doubt given to me on my birthday(s) over the years. I remember I got Amarok as a birthday gift. I'm sure there were more, I just cant remember at almost 47. I've been working on my own CD all my life, mainly since the late '80s when I got real gear. Well, I will be about 50 when it's done and there's a lot of you in there. I don't put my music files on the internet....not until finished and copyrighted. Yours as a gift when completed. I hope I can get it to you free of charge somehow when that day comes. You gave so much to me, maybe not free, but it enabled me to use MIDI to be my own band. And influenced my choice of guitars, keyboards, etc. Once again, happy birthday old freind. James Browning
