It includes an overview of his career, a guide to getting his guitar sound, a set of style examples with tab and backing tracks on the cover CD and a list of recommended albums. HuanCry Group: Members Posts: 303 Joined: May 2005 Posted: April 07 2009, 13:00 I got the mag Saturday thinking the audio samples of Mike's playing style would be of mike's own music rather than something made up by Mr Corona which it turned out to be ...consequently I wasn't that impressed even though I was able to discern the similarities it didn't do Mike's style justice !!   Back to top

They do very occasionally get the actual player featured to record them (as Mike did for Total Guitar a few years ago), but it's an exception rather than the norm. Back to top

HuanCry Group: Members Posts: 303 Joined: May 2005 Posted: April 08 2009, 13:23 Your right Korgscrew ...I was too harsh   I've still got the Total Guitar CD you mentioned but I remember another guitar mag CD where the mag guitarist played two samples from TB1 prior to which he admitted it was impossible to mimic Mike's electric guitar style because unlike most other players he uses his long nails !
